Rich began attending NCC in early 1995 when he entered the door as an unbeliever. He began attending a small group bible study and through God’s sovereign grace and the glory of God’s creation, was saved shortly after. Rich and his wife, Diane were married by Pastor Jerry in 1996 and have three wonderful children, Nick, Blake, and Alayna. Rich serves in Ascend Student Ministry and also leads a team of ushers as they serve on Sunday mornings. Rich serves to facilitate outdoor activities for our various ministries at NCC and takes advantage of the many bible studies offered to stay focused on God’s word. Rich grew up working alongside his father starting in 1970, when General Grant Car Wash was established. He has been blessed with working with his father almost every day until his passing in early 2016. Rich now shares his passion and entrepreneurial spirit with his oldest son Nick, as they enter into the third generation of car wash professionals.

Mike serves in many facets at NCC including teaching Tuesday morning men’s Bible study, student ministry leadership, men's ministry leadership, church set-up, and other serving roles. The Lord gracefully drew Mike to himself 26 years ago. Despite being raised in a religious system that was not founded in the truth, he did not embrace it. Instead, he filled his life with fleshly pursuits and material accumulation. In 1989, the Lord completely redirected his life, giving him a vision for his life and passion of his heart to obey the Lord’s commands while abiding in Him. Mike considers himself incredibly blessed to be married to his wonderful and beautiful wife Diane. They have four children, three that are in college and a daughter that is still at home. By the mercy and grace of God, all four have a relationship with Christ. Mike's vocation is that of a Sales Engineer working for a Japanese manufacturer of commercial and industrial electric motor controls.

Karl serves as a deacon, helping with communion and overseeing the offering collection. He was one of the first two deacons to serve at NCC. In 1983, he repented of his sins and received Christ as his savior. Since then, he has grown in his relationship with the Lord, and views his salvation as the best gift he will ever receive. Before retirement, Karl worked as a Supervisor Cartographer for 38 years in St. Louis. Karl and Jean have a blended family of 7 children and 18 grandchildren, who bring them great joy.
