What is the significance and meaning of a summer camping experience in the wild, with a community made up of one's family and the families of friends? Why do we steadfastly cling to collective family camping at a time when the institution of the family in general is undergoing such radical changes?

Simply because family camping represents an effective way for parents to spend leisure time together along with their children and with other friends. Come join us August 3rd – 5th at the Meramec State Park group campsite. Singing around the campfire, swimming in the river, cave exploration, and good old s’mores are all on the menu.

The cost is $35 per family.
