The Children's Ministry at NCC is committed to declare to every child the biblical wisdom that leads to salvation and spiritual maturity by grace alone through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.
Each week our children meet for biblical instruction that gives them an understanding of the authority of Scripture and acquaints them with the whole Bible.
The reach of our Children's Ministry does not stop at ministry to children only, we also seek to encourage and equip parents, strengthen families, and edify the many faithful servants who work hard to make it all happen. Click here to download our complete Goals & Values Statement.
The nursery is staffed during both the Equip and Worship hours. Children are taught Bible truths and are tenderly cared for by our nursery volunteers. Also, in our efforts to provide a safe and healthy environment for children in the nursery, we follow the guidelines of our wellness policy. Click here to view our wellness policy.
Classes are available to children age 3 years old through 5th grade during both services (9:00am - 10:15am and 10:30am - 11:45am). Our Sunday School ministry is built upon the Generations of Grace curriculum and coordinates lessons each week through both Sunday School hours to effect a strong context for Bible teaching and exposure to the gospel.
If you are attending the Worship Service, the children are dismissed to their classes after the music portion of the worship service. NCC values the opportunity parents have during the first part of the worship service to train up their young children to participate in various forms of corporate worship before exiting to engage in age appropriate instruction through the Sunday School ministry. If you are attending Equip, you can drop off your child at the beginning of the class (9:00 am or 10:30 am).
All children participating in NCC sponsored ministry must have their attendance registered at one of the check-in kiosks before they can be received into the nursery or classrooms. It is at our check-in kiosks also that the required nametags for children and guardian receipts for parents are printed. Click here for more information about our check-in system.
The Children's Ministry hosts events for children and families throughout the year. Every event we undertake to plan, organize, and offer is geared toward supporting the goals of the Children's Ministry and the mission of New Community Church.
